Dark Cloud

A challenge from Twinkle to draw a Final Fantasy character, so I drew Cloud. He's pretty much one of my favorite character designs in the world, and no fanart on Earth could hope to be better than the original, but I still drew him. This was done entirely in pencil, with only minor edits to the shading and also adding blue color. My main nitpicks here would be that his hair was over-shaded so it's too dark, and also his expression looks a little evil. Hence the title Dark Cloud, lol.

Oh, and it's a little blurry because the pic was too big for my scanner, so I had to photograph it to upload.



Also, enjoy this watercolored girl. I couldn't sleep last night so I was up until 3 drawing this.

Aww.. I can't see the second drawing of the watercolored girl. I've tried refreshing so many times but it's not working. I can see Cloud though and he just happens to be my favorite character too. if it the hair were a bit lighter, it would've resembled Cloud a whole lot. But those shades and lines are so clear. They so look realistic. I bet you could do a lot better with a little more practice but this is really well drawn as it is. And I admire your strength to be able to draw it to the legs. When I drew Cloud last year, I could only manage drawing till a little lower than the shoulders. I really wish that your photo had been clear because I can't quite make out that lion.
Overall, you've given it your best here and i can see that. My favorite thing is the shine on the cape. It's totally realistic. If you just put your hands on the drawing to cover the rest of the Cloud, and leave the cape uncovered. It won't look like a drawing, it'll look like an actual cloak.
I'll be waiting for more awesome drawings. Keep it up.

Oh great.. now i see the girl. Wow! You did that? That is so neat! Her eyes look so gentle. I don't know how you did the hair. You used like 3 or for colors for the strands of hair. Nice thinking. More and more like an artist everyday. I don't see anythign wrong with her. This is absolutely mindblowing!!!

Hello, I think the detail displayed in these 2 pieces are great and I would only offer 1 suggestion. On the picture of the water-colour girl watch the proportions of the head to the chest, one is a little big and the other a little small.

Wow!! great drawings. Cloud looks great too. The girl looks absolutely awesome. You have done a good job. The hair looks like a glass painting or something and I love that effect. And I think that her head is a wee bit small. Anyway keep up the good work.
