That's a heck of a gift. and as for what i like to write, it tends to be centered more around war and violence, mixed in with drama and suspense. But i'm just a newbie to the whole writing world. Hopefully i learn something here, or alot of things.

We all learn from one another here That's what's the site's here for. Everyone's very helpful here and you feel right at home when you jump in (like stori said) A great way to know people is to participate in Storybooks. A storybook is a story were several people create characters and create a story together. It really helps with thinking on the spot and working with other people.
