Fantasy-like drawings

So the goal of this first pic was to really aim for that 'realistic manga' style I'm trying to achieve. I think the key was to define the nose more and also blur the eyes and make them less bold. I still think the character looks a little too girly, but oh well. Also the sword kinda looks like crap near the blade.



I couldn't think of a name, but something along the lines of gold or eagle I guess.

This is Nightmare, and he was highly references but I changed a good amount of things, like the designs around his legs and arms and stuff. Also, the original had a cape and I took that off. In the end, I think my design is pretty unique. The name is kind of taken from a villian of the Sould Caliber video games.

Wowee! They're all as amazing as ever. I don't think the first one looks like a girl. I suggest that you make the upper lip thinner and give the guy a cool ring on one ear. He'll look like Genesis from crisis core. The hair looks so soft. You've aced that part. And the eyes and face, they do make it look realistic. And I see there's a difference in the gloves, although I like them both. I like the lower one more. And the sword isn't bad at all. I could never make accessories with that much detail. The wings will totally look like flames from afar if the guy was in battle.

The second one's my favorite. The background color suits it. You made a perfect lighting angle. What's left here is the tiny flash on the sword and it's a full battle mode. There was so much do do here and not just that, you improvised it as well. Inverting black and white colors is so fun. It's like everything turns upside down and still looks natural.

The third one. I can see more shades here. The boots are the best looking right now because they're actually shining. I don't know if you fully copied the design or improvised this as well but it looks so neat. Every line is so clear just like a professional drawing. The mask used the most detailing. Such thin lines are the hardest to draw. *claps for blacksheep*
