I am trying to experiment with digital drawing, and here are some of the latest dragons I drew with my tablet and PSE. The square thing in the corners with the flower is my watermark/signature.

If you are a little confused as what he looks like go here and click on the thumbs in the paragraph for more images: http://shiney4ever.deviantart.com/art/Z ... -316710311

Someone else's OC Tauric

And yes, I know his wings are at a weird angle D:

By the way, these are cartoon dragons, meaning that the scales don't show and it's not bent on looking realistic.

Awesome! These are really good!
I'm not an expert or anything in digital art, so I really can't criticize this. But one thing I found a bit overwhelming was the colour. They were kind of...bright. Too florescent. Too light.
When I think of dragons, I think shadows, darkness, ominousness. Even cartoon ones. But that's the only problem I have here.
I love the designs, the positions, and the kind of menacing look they give off.
Anyway, keep up the good work and keep drawing!^u^

Thank you!

The color thing is pretty natural, really. If you click the link and browse "dragon" you will be surprised at just how colorful and different dragon designs can be nowadays!

Wow, Shiney! I really like these. They look so different than your usual style but I think it's great. I'm so glad you started digital art because I can see your designs coming to life with the colors and shading. I bet these took a lot of time but they look like they were fun to do, too.

The coloring was probably my favorite thing about this. One of my favorite color combinations is lime green and hot pink, so I loved the first one ^_^ I can never get those colors together without making something look too girly though, but you did. I also love the gold designs.

The tiget dragon is sweet too ^_^ I love the white arms. And the green fur was a great touch! Really, everything about your designs is working really well.

The lineart is PERFECT and the poses are PERFECT. Just saying. :)

I feel like I still want a little more with your dragon's eyes or expressions. Just to give them some personality and to draw us in. But that's really not a big deal. I think you work mostly with designs and you do the kind of stuff that people hire you to draw their dragons, lol.

Another awesome post from you! I can see you improving all the time!

Hey! Someone pinch me! I can't believe you actually made these two. I've seen the first one on deviantart but you'd given it a different pose then. This one looks like it's stalking its prey. The best thing I like about it are the folds. They look natural. And the folds are always the hardest things in a drawing. Whether it's a dragon or a person. I also like the marks on its back. They're original. And the color contrast is really good.

The second dragon is sitting peacefully. Here the best parts are: The shades. They're totally visible and also natural looking. The second is the hair running from its neck to its tail. Every line in it is so clear and neat. Some people usually mess up the hair real bad in an animal drawing but you could never do that. The colors are all very vibrant and I don't konw how you did it but you even made the folds on its wings visible. They're black so normally shades are very hard to see. You didn't ruin the color and yet the folds and shades are still so clear. Spectacular job. Do keep posting more. :D :D

Thanks a bunch for the feedback guys! I'll keep practicing!
Especially with drawing the actual image with my tablet instead of on paper and then scanning it. Now there's a challenge!

These dragons are amazing and cool 8) . The first one looks a bit wierd because I can't find where it's arms and legs are. But the second one is my personal favorite. The bones, the shades, the colors and the detail are all so cool that they leave my mind watering. And hi Twinkle! I just pinched you. So now you know this is real! :D

Father: Because you don't know how to fly yet, silly.

Drakenor: I believe I can fly!

Father: I believe you can fall.

Drakenor: Look at me! Ahh! Turanamooo!!!

Father: I told him so...
