Slightly confused on what he's saying, the lady at the counter slides me my drink. I casually bring it up to my lips and feel the burning sensation go down my throat. I glance at him again, curious.
"Yeah," I reply, "Yours?'
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I sigh, slumping the sleeves of my leather jacket back down. Freezing, I nod, "Nice," I finally say, taking another sip of my drink, "I'm from a place called Olympus."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I gazed across to the two love birds over at the bar, somewhat confused just how they hadn't noticed two police officers down on the ground. I moved my view over to Myles, who was shuddering after his, in my eyes impressive, act of physical anticipation. But, nevertheless, whatever he was wanted for, and what we had now both done, if we had our asses still around when the cops woke up, well, we might aswell just walk right into the cells ourselves.
"You ok?" I asked Myles, wiping the blood from my sliced gums.
"Er, erm, yeah..."
I sighed deeply, trying to think of a plan to get us out of the mess made. "Grab your stuff; we're leaving."
He looks regretful. "Were will we go?"
"Just down the highway, we can stop by and you can inform me just why the pigs are after you." I directed a look at Mia. "Tell 'em we're gone, in the next state by now, but we'll be back shortly. Wait 'n see."
She smiled slightly, kicking my leathers beneath the counter; there was no point wasting time putting those back on. I patted my hand on Myles' shoulder and pulled him towards the door.
The rain was still dripping down from the miserably grey skies, plipping off of my Harley. I tossed the helmet posted on the handlebars across to the lean man, and it thumped him in the chest. "Put it on."
"What about you?" He replied.
"Never mind me, put the thing on."
Myles complied and placed the helmet, right way around, onto his skull and tightened the straps around his chin. "You ready to go?"
Laments of passion Obstructed by fear. Under guises of jovial chatter; Incredulous hopes Steadily feasting away- Eating away at my heart.
"You are too kind, but they do tell me I'm good. But it's really all the cards, they tell me everything." I say.
The men and the other woman leave, leaving only us two and the other girl at the bar.
"What exactly do they tell you?" she asks with a smile.
"Ha, they tell me that you, are one who has seen her set of tragedies. Perhaps you're not ready to settle down at this time, but they do tell me," I pick the first card off the top of deck. A heard decorated ornately with flowers and things is the illustraion, at the bottom it reads ileada - love
"That you are looking for love, do you have your eye on anyone in particular?" I say
