Hi...?

Hey, ya'll!
I'm RKnight, but for short just call me Rayne I'm almost eighteen, and kind of found this site by accident. A good thing. Though, this place seems kind of intimidating...but I'm outgoing, So I figured I'd tell you all about myself and meet new people.

Let's see... I'm from the hot southwest in the States, so if you see some "ya'll's" or "sugahs" you know why. It's the way majority of us talk, and I apologize if it's awkward. It's a habit.

I love to write, and started when I was in second grade (terrible terrible short stories). Since, i've been gradually trying to write better, use proper grammar- For a teen who texts all the time I've never used the "lingo" other than to say laugh out loud, but you all have my word I'll be good and spell the word out.

I finished my first novel about two years ago basically about forbidden love and war. Who doesn't love those two? I've managed to crank out a second one, which in process and a third that's just being planned out.

I love to read romance, action, paranormal things and anything else but non-fiction. I get enough non-fiction from school. I read mostly action (kick 'em, fighting, war, blood & guts type of things) with romance. Weird that a girl likes that kind of things instead of sappy "fairytale" romance. But, to each her/his own.

That's basically me in a nutshell... I hope to read/review/post soon

You've finished a novel? Right on! I think everyone should have some war and forbidden love in their literary diets. I wish you luck with your writing, and I definitely look forward to reading some of it.

Hmm, this place seems intimidating at first, but we at YWS are a great bunch, so you should make friends by visiting the chatroom or commenting on peoples work and vice versa.

So, if you have any questions about ANYTHING Private Message (PM) me and I'll try my best to answer. Whether it's requesting for a review, or you need help navigating around the site, I'm here! If it's something more serious, PM a Junior Moderator (JM) or a Moderator (Mod), they'll probably answer your questions better than me, haha. So, with JM's, their names are light green and with Mod's their names are dark green. Remember!

I hope you are not intimidated for long. We have a wonderfully friendly community here, and everyone just wants to help. I think we have quite a few people from the southern USA, so there are a lot of "y'alls" floating around. Although I've never heard the term "sugah" before.

I'm a pretty new to this madhouse myself, but the best people are the crazies and even in teh little time I've been here, i feel like I fit in. Of the people I've met they are great at giving advise and feedback, which is may favorite thing about the site, and they are all sweet about it. Critiqing, not bashing, I have been very impressed adn I'm sure you will be, too.

Though we probably write about different topics, I still think I could be able to understand your story book if you dont mind sending it to me some time. Id love to read it and give you some feed back on it. I promise I wont be mean! =P Anyways, YWS is glad to have another wonderful and well determined writer among us! Wow, you finished a novel? O: You've got so much more perseverance than I do. I'm awful at finishing projects. xD Will you end up publishing it any time soon? I'd love to check it out if you ever post it or publish. o:

I actually enjoy similar genres as you. I like stories that have a lot of action and that small dash of romance. Typically, I venture into fantasy more than horror, but it's still fairly similar in that regard!

Have you ever looked into the Storybooks here? They're basically RPGs, or co-writing with a handful of members. You can just sign-up and have some laidback fun while writing stories! I think there are a couple posted right now that you might find interesting, so feel free to check them out and join one or two!

Cool I'm from the south too! Congrats on finishing two novels! I'd love to check them out; romance and war? Sounds fun! I'm only good at starting novels but I'm trying to stick to the one I'm currently working on... it's not really romantic, well, there's some romance, it's hard to write a novel without it, and there's even an amount of warfare but mostly it's fantasy... that's what I like to write... I dable in romance but I think I'm better at writing fantasy yeah and I'm not really a fan of nonfiction either... well, I mean, history and science are cool and I like to learn about them but fiction's more fun!
