As some of you may know, me and a couple of other people started a small marketing company back in January (although I'm leaving this week). It's nothing big, but we do have one major client who has just asked us to do a ton more work for them.

For those who are interested, we really need new writers. However, before I explain what the work would entail, keep in mind that I can only hire people who live in the USA and are 18+.

The Job:

The client in question is Findlaw, which is a legal marketing firm owned by Reuters. Findlaw contracts with law firms across the country to provide content for their various blogs. These blog posts are 250 to 400 words each, and are about some story in the local media with a legal angle. For example, if the law firm is a personal injury firm, you might write about a car accident and how the victims of the accident may be able to bring a claim against the at-fault driver.

It obviously helps to have some legal knowledge, but it's hardly necessary. It's easy enough to pick up, and I can help you with that area. To give you a better idea of what you'd be doing, here are some blogs we provide content for:
http://www.fairfaxcountyimmigrationlawyer.com/
http://www.greensborocriminaldefenseblog.com/
http://www.ohioprobateattorneyblog.com/
http://www.greensboroncpersonalinjuryblog.com/

If you're interested:

You'd be paid $7.50 per blog post. I find that I'm able to write about 4 of these per hour, but when you just start, it'll probably be more like 1.5. However, you get faster as you go along. So, in the first week, it'd be something like $11.25 an hour. After a week, you'll probably be able to do 2 per hour, which would be $15 an hour. After a few months, you might be able to do four or even five an hour, which would be $30 to $37.50.

I'd start off any new writers at just a few articles a day for at least the first week (possibly longer). But if you like the work, I'd be able to increase you to at least 5 per day after a couple weeks. After that, it's entirely up to you. If you wanted to do 10 or more per day, that's cool.

However, I'm only looking for two writers at most right now. So if you're interested, what I would like you to do is send me a private message. The message only needs to read something like, "I'm interested," so don't worry about what to write! Just include what state you live in and your age.

After that, I'll give you an article to write a sample blog post for.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask either here or through PM. I'm the team lead for the company, so I'd be the person you would have the most interaction with. This is only purely only a part-time thing, although I was doing it as a full-time job for a few months last year. You also get paid based on what you do, which is either a good thing or a bad thing! Good thing because if you work really hard, you'll be paid more. Bad thing because if you do nothing, you get paid nothing, lol.

Hi, Nate; I'm not eligible for this job, but I'd just like to point out that the PMs don't work. (At least not mine).
Please take care to use good grammar when making a post!

Are you sure, crescent?

There should be a link in the bar at the top of your screen next to your name where it says something like 0 new messages. Click there, and you'll have access to your PMs.
