Hey I like this drawing a lot! To me, it looked almost like a cross between a dragon and a fairy, becuase the wings are so delicate and to me it looked like it's perched on a little flower. I also love the colors you chose. The icy blue skin and soft yellow wings are very pretty.
So for the sketching, I really don't have much critique. The proportions seem alright to me and and I love the pose.
I would say if you really wanted to take this to the next level, you could draw a really cool background as well. Like some kind of fantasy scene or forest or something. That would fit reallly well, I think. Also, when I zoomed up on the picture, I noticed a lot of white spots in your coloring. Make sure to fill in all the areas completely and get the colors as bold as you can get them.
The edited version was a great experiment. The colors were really vivid. I don't know much about photoshop, but on Gimp there's a "levels" edit that I use a lot to get my images bolder. By adjusting the levels, I can make certain colors brighter or darker until I get what I want ^_^
Hope this was helpful! You're a great artist!
