Hello, future friend!
I'm Alex, and I was referred here by one of the lampposts in the vicinity. It doesn't look like a bad place, granted, and all of you seem a happy bunch. c: That's always good.
I started writing at eight, and now I'm double that and very glad to report that my writing has improved since then. I'll keep working on it, of course, and where better to improve it than here? (It probably should be mentioned here that I've been lurking around YWS for a long time... no need to feel alarmed, I assure you.)
No chance there's anyone from the neighborhood around here? I know we Reds have our own Internet, but the Earth version is much more... ah, fun. x')

The people here are helpful and eager to help. You should try entering the Chat Room whenever you're free and you'll find many great people whom you can befriend. '

I'd just like to advice you one thing-if you review for others, people would also love to review for you. So to improve your skills and make friends, just attack the reviewing forum.
