Lucid Dreaming

4 posts in this topic.

  1. Lucid dreaming is a state in which you are aware that you are dreaming, and can exercise control over what happens in your dreams. Most of us will have had one, we tend to lucid dream a lot as children but grow out of it. It is, however, possible to train yourself to induce them by improving your dream recognition, dream recall, and by keeping a dream journal.

I've been trying to train myself these past few weeks, and I've keeping a journal is one of the most useful things to do.

Do any of you guys have lucid dreams, or keep journals or anything?
  2. All of my dreams are lucid however I do not keep a dream journal or anything like that.
  3. I never have those... If I did, I would've made everything be awesome! :)
  4. Sometimes I am not aware for the first bit of my dream, and in the middle I am concious of my state and decide to control my actions, like in a video game or real life. Sometimes I'm in a nightmare and it becomes lucid one second before the crescendo, and I quickly open my eyes to save myself from the horrors. I have to be careful when I dream, if I see just a little light from the window, I open my eyes and it ends. If I feel or become aware of the gunk in my eyes, it's over. And once it's over, it's over. I have NEVER dreamed about the same thing more than once.
