Rules! -- MUST Read.

2 posts in this topic.

  1. Welcome to the Christian Writers Club! It's great to have you, and we hope you find this a place for fellowship with likeminded folks.

As with all things in life, there are rules! And these rules are expected to be followed.

    1. Respect each other -- always.
We need to remember who we're living for and representing: Christ. If you're being disrespectful to people, not only are you bringing them down, but you're also being a poor example.

This also includes not name-calling! It might seem juvenile, but it has happened before and it is unacceptable. Calling someone a hypocrite or such is not being a good representative of Christ, and it's not building them up, as we are instructed to do.

    2. Respect other religions.
We expect other people to treat Christianity respectfully, so we need to respect them. This includes anything that might be considered a belief system, like atheism and agnosticism.

If someone posts something that you do not agree with, keep it civil! And if you feel that you can't resist saying something unkind or argumentative, then keep it to yourself, write it down on paper, whatever -- just don't voice it and start a fight.

    3. Debate goes in the Debate forum.
It's best to leave them for Serious Discussion and Debate, because we want to promote love and not conflict. If you feel the need to post something that could be controversial, please PM a Christian Writers admin (Ranger Hawk or Isha) so we can okay it and be specially aware of that topic.

If conversations start heading in an unpleasant, argumentative direction, there will be a warning, and all participating members are expected to stop any accusatory, insulting messages -- no getting that "last word" in. If it persists, topics will have to be removed and members reprimanded. Hopefully it will never go this far, but I will not hesitate to do so if things start going in a bad direction.

    4. Please keep your language clean.
G-rated, folks. In other words, a two-year-old could hear the discussions posted without worry.

If you have any questions or whatnot regarding these rules or the operation of this group, feel free to send a PM to Ranger Hawk or Isha, who are the current group Administrators.

Hopefully the following of these rules will make for a pleasant, respectful club. Thank you for your assistance!

    ~Ranger Hawk
