This is a place for any magical beast/person to come and talk. Aquatic beasts are welcome; the area is enchanted to accommodate them. Also, the beasts and people can understand each other.
You enter a forest clearing bristling with life. In one corner sits a large, brown, wolf-like hound with feral yellow eyes and enormous paws. It narrows it eyes at you. "Who are you?" It growls.

"Now, now. Don't be that way." The spiky red dragoness answers, her slitted yellow eyes filled with an inner flame. "I really don't want to get in a fight- if I did, I'd probably light this whole place on fire. Not that I dislike fire- just out of respect for others, if you know what I mean."
-
"But to answer your question, wolfie-thing, my name is Tourmaline." She shuffles her wings and starts licking her long, dark talons like a cat.
-
The hound rises to its paws, circling the dragon. "No scale-crests....You aren't an Ancient, then." He sits down again. "I am Brisk, an alpha of the Sabreling pack Moonbound." His teeth glint in the light.
-
¨Sabreling? I can´t say I´ve heard of you.¨
-
Brisk made a panting sound, like a laugh. "And I can't say I've ever seen a dragon like you before." He itched his ear. "I'm one of the Hunderfalk."
-
¨Hunderfalk is another one of those words like Sabreling that means nothing to me.¨
-
Brisk's yellow eyes flickered. "The Hunderfalk are the Hounds of Denervan--Battlehunders, Sandbayers....and we, the Sabrelings, are a part of that category."
-
¨So really boss dog-wolf things, essentially?¨
-
Brisk growled slightly. "I am not a dog! Dogs are obedient worms that grovel before humans!"
-
"Not necessarily. But I did qualify dog-wolf thing- not dog."
-
(I meant clarify. I don't think I got enough sleep last night XD)
-
(that's ok neither did I
)
Brisk narrowed his eyes. "Yet being associated with such a creature turns my stomach." -
"They aren't THAT bad."
-
With another growl, the Sabreling stalked over to the dragon. "Oh, aren't they? Dogs have no honor, no dignity!"
