I'm the neighborhood dryad, and I'll be giving you a tour of the forest. Be sure not to go in alone, the dryads don't like un-invited guests. Also, many beasts like Shu call this place their home.
Shu: You know I'm an otter right master?
Ignore him! He's trying to trick you.
Anyway, feel free to take the path to the sea, be sure the Sirens don't drown you!

Kasha looked around. "Tour, please!" :'D
Yeah, this guy was totally lost. -
"Follow me!" Ceclia Bounded through some foliage, her green hair flying out behind her.
-
Kasza* (oops spelling on the first - but it's pronounced the same way!) followed the green-haired woman, his own crimson locks flowing like a bloody river.
-
She ran relatively fast, diving into a river. Her hair flew upwards in the water, looking like some sort of algae. She came up.
"This is the river. Almost all trails follow it out of the woods. Usually in the tour people take off running now." She shrugged.
"There's a bridge upstream a little. Everything important is pretty much on the other side." -
Kasza watched with plenty of interest. Using his wings, he gently glided over to the other side of the river, like a vulture circling around. Only it was a straight line. Hm..
"I don't need the bridge.. Need help out?" he offered. -
"Nah I'm good." She used a tree branch to hoist herself out of the water. The branch promptly slapped her in the face.
"Oops, sorry Marris, didn't know you were home."
I turned to Kasza "Might not want to touch any of the trees, trip on a root when someone's home and they'll pull you underground forever."
She thought a moment. "Don't flirt with the dryads either. If they kiss you you get younger by ten years. Sorry if that sounds weird but last tour I forgot to say that and I had to return with three toddlers." -
"Ah, oke." Kasza made super-duper sure not to touch any trees. Check.
And no flirting with the dryads. But hey, he was immortal. It wouldn't do much! "Ah, the flirting might not be that bad of a problem.."
Maybe. -
She shrugged. "There is a variety of creatures in the river, mostly kelpies now, but it once hosted a variety of creatures including Naiads, swan maidens, and undines, and an island not too far downstream hosted a solitary Wulver."
She gestured towards the forest. "This place is a refuge for creatures such as werewolves, Satyr, Centaur, and White stag. Despite the wish-giving legends about capturing a white stag, they are much more likely to grant you a wish if you set one free." -
Kasza nodded. "Are there any ulse around here as well, or are those only in Falena?" he asked curiously. "I could probably party with the satyrs and centaurs later.."
-
"Most of them are dead." She said, her voice flat.
-
"Oh.." Kasza's demeanor changed to reflect his sadness. "What happened to them? Did the kelpies get them?"
-
She laughed a bit. "If only."
-
Kasza perked up. "Then what happened to all of the woodland creatures?" he asked.
-
She waved her hand. "Long story. You might hear it someday."
