James: You mean the Western/Wailing Wall?

"The Fourth Wall"
The fourth wall is a concept where a fictionally entity acknowledges it's place in a fictional universe. Also known as Hyper-Consciousness, and therefore is aware of their own non-existance.
Example
Billy "Hey Fred, whats up?"
Fred "Shut up Billy! The readers know you've got a hernia"
Billy "Maybe they'll skip this part of the book..."
Doing this and achieving Hyper-Consciousness is know as "Breaking The Fourth Wall" and this term is mostly used in role-play situations -
James: But how does Billy know that he's in a book?

Sam: Hey you author typing on the computer why did I have to die so early? And so painful too. I was decapitated for goodness sakes and set on fire.
Nefaria: Don't feel bad. At least you weren't killed off by her bratty MC.
Sam: Wait. It was your minions that killed my anyway.*growl*
(Sam tries to punch Nefaria but his hand goes through her face.*ghosts and all*)
Nefaria: That...was fun. You can't hurt me but I KILLED you. HA -
