I have a problem with continuing my novel. I love it very much right now, but it's hard to find time to write. I fear that if I have too much time to think about it, I will not want to continue writing it. (This happened with my other novels.) Any suggestions?

Honestly? Just finish it. No matter what, keep it going.

Just keep writing! Somethings change and somethings stay the same but at least you can go back and edit the stuff you do not want in it.

I'm having trouble continuing my Novel. I'm about halfway through and I will write about a page a week. I still love my book but I'm just not getting anywhere. Advice?

    Aquila90 replied · Aug 13, 2013

Advice? Relax, take a break. Haha get some inspiration from other sources or do something other than writing.

Feel free to share your ideas, I often experience the same block :D

    ForsakenAngel replied · Aug 13, 2013

Try taking a break and reading something (another book, poetry, just anything that's not your Novel.) You could also try listening to music and imagine scenes for your Novel that would correspond with the song. Even though you might not write that into your work, it gives you some new ideas.

I don't know, that's just a couple of things that I do xD

Do share your story if you want :) People can help you see where you can take the story

I have the same troubles as well. You should post your stories on the website! It would be fun to read.

    Joe replied · Nov 19, 2013

    Thanks this helps a lot.
Right now I'm writing on paper (less distractions then a computer) but when I type it out I'll be sure to share it

Also, the shower is a great place to let your ideas flow. I don't mean it in a dirty way, but somehow the water really helps me think. :D

Sounds cool, you writing a book too? This club is quite dead though haha

It lacks momentum, but a few of us are still around.

You guys wanna help me? I'm afraid of posting my writing up here, thinking that people my steal it. So email can work. I'm sort of stuck on what I want my main character to perceive. I have many ideas.

    Aquila90 replied · Aug 11, 2013

Sure, it can work. I pm you my email.

Hey guys! I'm new here and was wondering how does this club work?

Mines moving forewords slowly... the problem is I'm working on writing the third book and stuck but excited, but at the same time I'm furiously trying to edit/manipulate/improve the first book I wrote...nya.

    It could be better...

    RacheDrache replied · Jun 3, 2011

Pretty well, thanks for asking. Just getting off the ground with a new project

    GryphonFledgling replied · Jun 3, 2011

Mmm, same, though I'm a little further off the ground than I was before, so that's good? It's just becoming scarier to look down.

    Redfang18 replied · Jun 3, 2011

    Mine's on hold.

    Sins replied · Jun 4, 2011

Rach, only I'm allowed to talk to myself, k? As for me, I've actually made a novel plan which is rather ground-breaking for me. I normally make it up as I'm going along, then fail completely. But yeah, it's going well actually, and I'm really enjoying writing this one a lot. That's the most important thing, methinks.

    RacheDrache replied · Jun 4, 2011

Skinsez, I wasn't talking to myself! Raz returned the question!

    Sins replied · Jun 4, 2011

    Shameful.

    I second that.

    Start it up again.
