Criminals

  1. Ok, so nobodies written on here in a while so I might as well start a new thread :P

Who, in your opinion, is the most famous criminal in history?

I'd say Jack the Ripper for definate
  2. You mean Spring-heeled Jack? That's what we call him in America. He was pretty famous.

I think Robin Hood was a really famous criminal too.
  3. Robin Hood wasn't really much of a crimianl though.

    No, criminal wise. Hitler.
  4. Robin Hood wasn't evil like Hitler but he still broke laws, thus making him a criminal.
  5. I think Al Capone, he was a mad criminal.
  6. Heh that's kind of ironic because assuming Robin Hood existed, which he didn't, he was much more of a criminal that Hitler (seeing as Hitler was in control of the legislature for pretty much the entire 1933-1945 period). I guess legality doesn't always correspond to morality, makes you think.
  7. My favourite is Sweeney Todd, though he didn't actually exist (nor did Robin Hood, though - or certainly not the way we think of him). You don't get much cooler than slitting your customers' throats and making them into pies. Jack the Ripper is definitely a contender for most famous, and very cool with it.

I suppose Hitler was a criminal on an international level, but since he made the laws in Germany he wasn't breaking any of his own country's laws. He was a war criminal, though.
  8. Mussolini was pretty notorious, as well as Adolf Hitler. However, my [i]favorite[i] criminal would have to be Billy the Kid.
  9. I think Jack the Ripper. I don't know, I know Hitler was super evil and so horrible in every possible way, but he wasn't really a criminal right? He obeyed HIS laws, but I don't think of him as a criminal persay. I just think he was a horrible, awful, stupid, powerful, ignorant man who freakin thinks that just because people are different that they should die and that- *rants on and on*
  10. Zodiac Killer. Period.
  11. Vladd the Impaler.
  12. Oh, and Dexter :D
