  1. I used to know Spanish -- From preschool on I was always in bilingual/ESL class rooms. Which is illegal, seeing as normal public schools aren't supposed to *have* special classrooms like that unless it's a part of a program (they're supposed to provide a diverse student body in every class room,) but it worked well for me. Mom pretty much blackmailed them to put me into those classes. Legally, they didn't have a reason not to let me in, because legally, they didn't have separate classrooms like that. :P

I left the regular school system in fourth grade for homeschool, but we were living in SoCal by then, in a part where you needed to know Spanish if you wanted to do anything outside the house. Then we moved to Washington and I stopped using it. Fast-forward four years, I've forgotten most of it. XD It's a language that I can learn really fast though, because it's mostly all re-learning. And I can speak it without an accent for the most part when I do.

So I sort of have Spanish? I also have some ASL, some Latin, and a teensy ounce of French. I'm currently learning it using Pimsluer and Rosetta Stone, for those who know those programs. Thinking of going back and picking up some Spanish again, but also planning on learning Russian. One day, someday, maybe I'll learn Italian. But it keeps getting bumped to the bottom of my list, so. Maybe one day.

Gaelic is a beautiful language! I tried learning it when I was ten, but couldn't really get it, so I stopped. Might be fun to try again. It's really very pretty.

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.
