  1. Just here to explore, read, and write some poetry!! :D
  2. I stand alone,
    but solitude doesn't suffocate,
it's the shadows ahead that engulf me,
    questioning my worthiness of existence.
Am I deserving of love, or simply of pain?

    Perhaps death is the answer.

    NO!

    I yell at myself,
how dare I entertain such dark thoughts?
Mom would mourn her child, siblings would weep,
Dad would to, but he's arrogant and woudn't show his sadness.

    Selfish.

    That's the verdict I reach,
who am I to crave oblivion?
Just a fool, resigned to this testament,
so I linger, sighing, waiting for the inevitable end,
hoping death might choose me, uninvited,
and spare me the burden of being a nuisance.

    But still, I linger,
grasping at the fraying threads of my resolve,
knowing that tomorrow will likely be the same,
    mundane and unremarkable,
    yet I remain, alone.
a silent scream in the void of my own making.
  3. Hi Cupid!
I relate to this more than I would like to be honest, I love this so much because I feel like everyone feels this way at some point in their lives, maybe even multiple times. It is an escape though. We have to keep living and keep torturing ourselves for our loved ones. Lovely poem, filled with emotion and understanding yet self-hatred!!

  5. Aw thank you so much Coffee, I really appreciate your kind words! <333
  6. Love me,

    Love me,

    Love me!

    I scream to the mirror,
    The shards, broken and mocking,
    Watching my desperate plea,
    A cacophony of fractured desire,
Bouncing off the walls of my echoing mind.

    Insanity? No, I'm not Insane!

    Insanity whispers sweet nothings,
Trying to find an entrance to my hollow mind,
But I refuse to let it claim me,
I am the master of my own madness.

    Madness,

    Madness,

    Madness? No I'm not mad!!

    My thoughts spill like ink,
Pooling at the edges of consciousness,
    A dark tide of despair,
    Drowning me in it's depths.

    D
    R
    O
    W
    N
    I
    N
    G

Pool's of blood drag me out to sea,
    Riptides pull me underneath,
    Who's drowning..? Can't be me.

    But the waves crash over,
    A relentless assault,
Dragging me into the deepening abyss.

The salty tang of regret lingers on my tongue,
    Mixed with fear's refrain,
Struggling against the pain Of the cold,
dark chill of the oceans waves.

    Darkness,

    Darkness,

    Darkness.

It closes in around me, swallowing my pale frame,
Cradling me as it drags me deeper,
Blood suffocates me, as it tries to crawl out my throat,
    But the water yells, no!

    So it stays in place,
Choking what little life is left in me, out.
Forcing me to be a surrender to the silent lane, cradled in my own pain.
  7. Hiiii Cupid!
Aweeeee, why are these all so dark? (Then again, it’s easier and more fun to write these scenes I guess, more descriptive…) It’s lovely!! Really, it’s so descriptive and I love the way the character can’t even describe what’s happening without having a battle with themselves. It’s a chaotic piece and perfectly describes the scene you wanted to convey. Perfect Cupid!
  8. I usually write darker poetry, although it usually depends how I'm feeling that day! (Or my inspiration lol) And also, thank you for reading! I'm glad you're taking time out to read my poetry. (Even if it's not always the best! :,D)
  9. :D No problem and I LOVE your poetry! I always look forward to reading it!
  10. Cupid! I absolutely love your first entry for the March Contest!! It’s beautiful and the metaphorical language is captivating and makes you feel like giving anger a hug(at least I do)! Love it!!
  11. they don't like feeling trapped.
the moment the door clicks shut,
it's as if the walls get smaller,
    the air is heavier.

    they'll find distractions.
    fidgeting with whatever's nearby,
    tapping restlessly against the floors,
    anything to occupy their mind.

to make the space feel bigger then it is.
    but no matter what,
their eyes always drift back to the door.

    the exit.

    the way out.

sometimes, though, they forget it's open.
or maybe they realize it is,
    and for once,
    they don't want to leave.

    but they always leave.
