Sooo, I've read the famous "A Study in Scarlet", "The Scandal in Bohemia" and another one, and I can't get over the fact that Sherlock figures everything out. The stories aren't exactly suspenseful, but it's just fun to read.
The best part is when he's solving the mystery and he's like "yeah, the marks on the shoes, the redness of his hair and something else that's probably totally unnecessary like the smell of his 'bleh' breath, I deduce that this guy came from here, ate this, got poisoned and died like an insect crushed by your boot."
And I'm like wow, how didn't I see that coming.. -
I love Sherlock Holmes!!! I've read like, all the short stories and novels. Totally his biggest fan.

Me too! Second biggest fan then xD I haven't read all the stories yet, but I'm planning on doing that one day.
Before I read the book though, I watched Robert Downey's film and also Henry Cavill's Sherlock, that's what really made me curious about the original story -
Recently started reading The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho.

I have to say that Coelho's writing is just marvelous. And what I find so wonderful is that he doesn't try to describe something so confusing with highly advanced words, but he writes realistically, with a certain level of advanced words, and in some cases he uses such normal and simple everyday things, metaphorically, to describe several things.
I've already read The Winner Stands Alone and The Devil and Miss Prym and I'm amazed, the stories touch on certain aspects of life that are clear, but you just don't really know about them. His novels always raise some thought-provoking questions about the reality we live in.
Paulo Coelho is a Brazilian writer and his books are phenomenally successful. And now he's a real inspiration to me
