Feathered Memories of Home

Chickens bring joy, so much delight,
In the quiet morn, a farm's first light.
Beside the horses, by Grandma's old home,
With all your cousins, they freely roam.

When you wake up, to feed them you go,
They jump with joy, their spirits aglow.
Unburdened, unstressed, always at ease,
In the cool breeze, they do as they please.

Chickens, your childhood, safety, and kin,
Feeding on grains from the earth so thin.
Chickens, a reminder of where you belong,
In your heart, they sing a joyful song.
