  6. Today I made my very first GroundskeeperWIP meme, and no one's even gonna get it because no one's read the pages.

Trust me when I tell you it's hilarious, though.

  7. me before I started drafting GroundskeeperWIP: I'm probably not gonna have any memes for this one, it's too sad and spooky, how tragic
me one week into March: *has three different memes for this story already*

  8. can you tell that the handshake meme and the butterfly meme are my two most frequently-used memes?

if I'm making the memes, odds are it's gonna be one of those two

anyway this is another one for GroundskeeperWIP, where the MC is an immortal who tells himself he's used to being alone...

  9. I guess writing characters who love poetry is now part of my ~author brand~??? bc today I wrote a whole poetry DISCUSSION into GroundskeeperWIP, courtesy of the groundskeeper's love of poetry, and in Hungry Girls it's a whole thing that Zafira loves poetry.

characters running out in their pajamas to do things

    why

why do I keep doing this

Every time I’ve gotten feedback that was hard to take it was usually hard to take because there was truth in it and I didn’t like that (or didn’t want to receive it). That’s not to say all harsh feedback is good or that we should be harsh for harshness’ sake, but learning to absorb truth without letting it break your inner core/break you is a lifelong skill that keeps your mind elastic and open to learning.
