    Welcome to the Ido Language Learners club! I encourage you to read through all of the lessons in the Forum section to get a feel for the language! Please try to keep the lesson topics empty, as I don't want to become cluttered. Ask questions on the wall!

    And then jump right into introducing yourself! Head over to the Ido lounge to start practicing. Don't be afraid to translate with dictionary sites - that's how you acquire new vocabulary!

    Ido grammar is often meant as compromises. Some languages have no articles, some have definite and indefinite, so Ido only has definite articles. Some languages have adjectives precede nouns, and some have them come after, so Ido allows for both. Ido vocabulary is derived from English, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, and German. It is obviously very eurocentric, but because of that it reaches a vast number of people without being too difficult to learn.

The first draft is a trip to the amusement park. The next drafts are returning there as a safety inspector.
