Welcome to Camp Napo!
Greetings campers and welcome to the campsite! We'll be running Camp NaPo, a precursor to National Poetry Month, from March 8 - March 15. The week will include poetry challenges, tips, and write-ins. You can participate in as much or as little as you like - just be sure to make a logbook (thread) in the club forum to post what you come up with throughout the week!
Guidebook
Each camper is asked to make a Logbook (thread) in this club to record your poetry from the week. No need for any fancy formatting if that's not your style, just get your tent stakes ready, click "create topic" and post your work during the week. Don't forget to check out your fellow campers' work as well.
Every day you are invited to post one (or more!) Daily Poems in your thread. If that's too many poems for you, try taking the week to just develop or edit one poem and see what you can come up with.
Every day there will also be a Daily Challenge that you can find posted in the club in the morning - you can try to incorporate that into your Daily Poem, or make an additional poem to meet that challenge. Treat it like a prompt if you're stuck or are looking for something with a bit more direction.
Throughout the week you can expect different write-ins, workshops, contests, and NaPo tips. You can find the official ones in the Camp Itinerary thread, and if you'd like to host your own write-in or poetry activity feel free to post in the club so we can join you!
Have a great week! And if you run into any questions or realize you forgot to pack your bug spray, feel free to post in the club or message alliyah.
