Patience was a virtue.
Purposely past tense. Meaning retired. Meaning out of the business. Meaning living a happy domestic life. Meaning don't come to her with your problems.
The sign on the door was quite clear: "Supernatural folk request aid elsewhere."
Up until this moment, everyone had listened to the warning.
But then Lucifer had never cared to be sorted in with everyone, and they weren't here to request aid. They were here to confess.

Physical Description: Patience has changed forms many times throughout their eternal life. Their true nature means that they are really just a ball of light containing massive amounts of energy and the heart of a star.
However on modern day Earth, being such an entity would be rather destructive to their surroundings.
Patricia Norton [a falsely created name, form and identity] appears to be in her mid-40s. Her bright red hair has streaks of gray in only a few spots. She wears a varying amount of jeans and simple t-shirts, odd ensembles that add to the mystery of her existence.
Personality: Their personality is mainly neutral, most likely stemming from years in war and a lack of emotional connection. However most of the people involved in their current circle, Patience appears to be kind and caring.
Habits/Mannerisms: One thing they do is flip a folded knife across their knuckles, opening it ever so often to slice at the air, and keeping their eyes shut the entire time.

Background: Patience doesn't know much about themself. They were born as a member of an order called the Heavenly Virtues in conjunction with an order called the Deadly Sins. Their siblings were similar to Patience - the main difference coming with their opinions of how to defend life in the Existence.
Patience not only has the ability to travel through time, but also stop time itself. This absolute control over one of the basic elements of basic life was maddening and eventually forced Patience away from everything that they had known.
After thousands of lifetimes of spiraling through different universes and different worlds, they took residence on Earth when the year was 1962. The planet was heading towards one of the things humans did best - war.
And that happened to be the environment that Patience was most comfortable in.
Giles and Peter were already living in Ybor City, Florida in this timeline and point, and quickly asked Patience to move in to their small house. They didn't want to go along with the plan at first, but decided to take their retirement after all. Retirement to Florida wouldn't be that bad - all things considered.
Internal Conflicts: During different periods, Patience lost many of the beings that they cared about, including most of their siblings, nearly anyone who could be called a friend, and all of their lovers. Coming to this point on the timeline of Earth was almost a suicide attempt, but Saint Peter and Saint Giles forced their way into Patience's domestic life.
They have a responsibility to keep these two friends safe. And they battle with the possibility of having to keep Mother Earth safe from her own children.
External Conflicts: Early on to their residence on Earth, Patience is flagged by the United States government as being an extraterrestrial. This led to their name being placed on a list that the US might call on for help if the situation might occur. Patience has to deal with the possibility of this day coming and knowing that they'll have to run away from whatever life they managed to build.
