  1. Announcements

This thread is for all important announcements from the Storybook Crew. There can be posts on anything from new monthly crew challenges to official site storybooks, so keep your eye on this thread!
  2. Official storybooks have returned!

Once upon a time, the Storybook Crew would gift the pirates of the Seven Storybooking Seas with official storybooks. These storybooks were run by members of the crew, and one could expect them on a nearly monthly basis.

Unfortunately, your dedicated crew had a horrible battle with the kraken, and it's only now that we can finally return to giving you the much sought after official storybooks! Due to a sudden abundance of treasure to loot, we can no longer gift them as frequently as before. You can, however, expect to see them every other month!

The first official storybook of 2019 has already been thrust in the storybook forums. It's called In Service to the Hierophant, and is run by @AstralHunter, the crew's trusty navigator! If you like golems and magic, this is the storybook for you.

Expect to see more official storybooks in March, May, July, September and November!
  3. Introducing Storybook Jams™!

It's been lonely sailing these seven storybooking seas the past few months, so your pirate crew has decided to shake things up by inviting you to sail with us! Every month, we'll be bringing you a slew of Storybook Jams™! Like poetry jams, Storybook Jams™ will be hosted on a WriterFeedPad, and will involve writing everything storybook related. Whether you have a character profile you need to work on, a handful of roleplay posts, a new DTWH thread that you really need to plan with your mates, or post for your favorite storybook, you're welcome to join your local pirate crew!

All information about Storybook Jams™ will be posted on this club's wall at least a few days in advance, and will include the date, time and who's running it. On the actual day of a Storybook Jam™, expect to see the link posted either before or at the designated time of the event.

We hope to see you there!
  4. March's official storybook has arrived!

If you're interested in a slice-of-life storybook that celebrates the return of spring, Bluebell's Spring is the storybook for you! The story is set in the suburban town of Bluebell just as spring returns, and you'll get to determine how the story plays out! The only part of the story that's planned is the ending; all characters will end their stories by celebrating the opening of the town's new park and green together.

This official storybook is brought to you by your friendly neighborhood pirate @Magestorrow.

It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel: a very comfortable tunnel without smoke, with panelled walls, and floors tiled and carpeted, provided with polished chairs, and lots and lots of pegs for hats and coats—the hobbit was fond of visitors. The tunnel wound on and on, going fairly but not quite straight into the side of the hill —The Hill, as all the people for many miles round called it—and many little round doors opened out of it, first on one side and then on another.
