Take your shortest poem, this is now poem 1 (pretend mine is "The apple is red" and write a poem where each word of poem 1 falls at the end of a line for poem 2)
example:
I am always telling the
apple tree that I hate apple(s)
and I would rather have oranges instead, but this is
how it must be; fruit that is red.
Joy Harjo's version of this is MUCH more impressive than that - so read that one instead, but also give it a try yourself, it's a fun challenge!
