Folks have until the 20th to nominate a favorite poem that someone else has written from the site for the Reverse Poetry Contest.
Thanks again to everyone who participated throughout Camp NaPo! It was so much fun!
But the winner of my contest is....
@niteowl !
I'd love to see everyone who did Camp NaPo post one of their poems in the Talent Show Contest!
there's even a 50 point participation prize if that helps tempt anyone to post
Just share the poem you like the best from what you wrote during Camp NaPo.

Daily Challenge
Fire's an important part of camping. For this challenge make a list of everything you think of when you think of fire. And I mean every word you can think of relating to it.
Okay, now that that's done, write a poem about Fire without using any of those words. This will help you work on moving beyond the obvious, avoid cliche's, and explore unique word choice.
August 11 Schedule
*Daily Challenge
*Revision Jam at 8/11/18 13:00 CDT

Daily Challenge
Think of an object that starts with the first letter of your username, now think of an object that starts with the last letter of your username. Make a list of their similarities. Now try to craft a poem that uses both of these objects as the subject of a metaphor or simile (could be one compared to each other, or two separate comparison for something else entirely). This will test your skills in creating unique comparisons and finding connections in your poetry.
