fraey's Goals

13 posts in this topic.

  1. Pretty simple ones really, but I want to write at least a 100 words a day, participate as much as possible in the 20 minutes of writing a day, and finish a fiction novel by the end of the year. Ooh, also, my review goal is to hit at least 350 reviews, if not 450 by the end of 2020. ^^
  2. I'll combine yesterday's and today's results, and use this to organize #20in20 as well.

Jan 01 - 121 words, successful 20 minutes, one review.
Jan 02 - 140 words, successful 20 minutes, one review.
  3. Going for day three and day four of #20in20 woohoo. ^^

Jan 03 - 177 words, successful 20 minutes, one review.
Jan 04 - 146 words, successful 20 minutes, and no review. <.< that is ok though, cause I only need 9 more this month to stay on track for 450 reviews. ^^
  4. Going for day five of #20in20 so yea yuh.

Jan 05 - 100 words, successful 20 minutes, one review.
  5. Day six of #20in20 ^^ I spent a while working on an article for Squills, so not gonna do a review today.

Jan 06 - 101 words, successful 20 minutes, no review.
  6. Jan 07 - 141 words, successful 20 minutes, no review.
  7. Jan 08 - 133 words, successful 20 minutes, one review.
  8. Actually Jan 08 - 115 words, successful 20 minutes, no review.
  9. OOope, I should restart this.

My main goal for this month would be to set up a decent plot for my WIP, and then make a challenge for Camp NaNo in April c:

I also would like to get my first blue review star, which requires 22 reviews for the month, and that I mighttttt post some of what I'm writing, maybe not as a work but in a writer's thread. We shall see >,>
  10. That previous reboot did not stay for long, but I’d like to be able to spark a new idea again.

For the rest of summer - basically accounts for four months until my official start at the uni I’ve transferred to (which, yay!), I would love to create a couple episodes for a podcast idea, and to start up a book idea. (Which will probably be left to burn in the sand, but sheesh I can’t be on a writing website and not write sometime!)

Also, I’m not writing much poetry right now (probably burned out from NaPo,) so doing a little poetry would be fun too.

    Goals for June 2020
[1] Write out at least three podcast episodes
[2] Record at least one podcast episode
[3] Write out an actual understandable plot
    [4] Write out character profiles
[5] Choose a name for podcast and book
    [6] At least 12 reviews
[7] Follow a novel (maybe new, maybe old)

I think I’ll leave it at that for now. Let’s see how this goes!

If I don’t complete at least three of these goals, I’ll have to set up some kind of award system so that I lose all my points XD at least then I’ll get myself motivated to review more.

Good luck to everyone and their goals!
  11. Alright, I want to evaluate my goals for this month:

    -for June 2020
[1] Write out at least three podcast episodes - nope, (<1)
[2] Record at least one podcast episode - nope, (<1)
[3] Write out an actual understandable plot - yes, 2
[4] Write out character profiles - yes, a couple
[5] Choose a name for podcast and book - yes, kinda
    [6] At least 12 reviews - yes, 14
[7] Follow a novel (maybe new, maybe old) - yes, (>1)

Well, 5 out of 7 isn’t too bad, and now I should hopefully have a bit more free time to do more in the month of July.

    Goals for July

[1] Write Camp NaNo Project - 30,000 words
[2] Write 31 reviews, or one a day
    [3] [i]Write 5 podcast episodes

I think I will make this next month’s goal list shorter just to see if I can focus better on less things. I shall try my best!
  12. Whelp those goals went nowhere.

    Goals for July

    - did very little for any of these

Now I should start fresh with August Goals

    Goals for August

[1] Record five songs & podcast episodes
    [2] Write 500 words a day
[3] Write one review a day
[4] Write 1-2 Squills articles per publication

Here’s to hoping this works better lol
  13. Maybe I should have tried to look over this post actually in August, but I forgot, so I might as well try to do this before the end of September. I didn't really do great at the August goals, but I did try at least.

For September, I definitely want to write 200-300 words per day, write at least four reviews a week, write a poem a week, and read at least one book per week.

okay I think I need to grab some nachos
