  1. finally going to drive myself hard to actually do these things instead of quitting after a few weeks

-Finish the first draft of Hell or High Water by the end of this year (ambitiously, I'd like to before the end of the summer, but I'm not holding my breath)

-Write 1000 words of HoHW a week at least

    -Write one review a week

-Finish writing and editing The Language Unspoken (First Impressions) by sometime in April and submit that to the HarmonyInk contest.

-if I finish Fantasia first, I may submit that instead. Or maybe both.

I definitely need like, a howler every time I wimp out on these xD
  2. Well, I got my 1k of HoHW in right after I posted this and then...didn't write anymore. But on the bright side, I got 8 reviews done last week, I wrote 1.7k for Fantasia and 1.2k for The Language Unspoken. So I did get to everything I wanted to!

Let's see how it goes this week!
  3. *definitely did not forget to update this*

    Week 2 - March 26th - April 1st

-Hell or High Water got it's 1000 words done this week! (I did not write word count that time though)
    -Review 1 was completed
-Edits started on TLU, and a possible synopsis
    -Fantasia got 331 words

    Week Three - April 2nd-8th

-I missed the goal for Hell or High Water by literally 47 words and I'm very mad at myself still
-726 words for The Language Unspoken (which I'm pretty sure I redacted anyway?)
    -168 words for Fantasia
-Not that I wrote it in my goals, but I finished one short (Replace My Blood)
-Wrote 2 reviews so at least I overachieved somewhere

    Week Four - April 9th-15th

-Finished editing The Language Unspoken, new goal is to send it in this week (16th-22nd) and stop being lazy about it
-1042 words for Hell or High Water
-I feel like the 52 words for Fantasia doesn't count but oh well
    -Wrote that 1 review

    Week Five April 16th-22nd

-3 reviews done! :D Third star is on the horizon? (Can I get it in May? June? Who knows)
-I made up for the Third Week of missing Hell or High Water word goal by writing 2226 this week, so productivity, yay
-936 words for (somebody feel free to murder me) Snowglobe. I have taken a vow to write no more new short stories until and Fantasia are done.

Might have to do some goal revisions, since I'm starting to switch gears. I have a journal I write in to keep track of all this stuff, and the goal change weekly. New system? We'll see.
  4. Week Six April 23rd-29th

-1827 words for Snowglobe. I meant to finish it last week, but I've been very tired and came down with a bad case of writer's block.
-1012 words for Hell or High Water, which surpasses my goal, isn't great, but I'll take it. Especially with -100 motivation.
-Review day happened! I got five reviews done. I meant for at least six, but I was also neglecting family and was tired so. Five. I have nine left for my next star, so I'm hoping to get tackle that before the end of May. Maybe I'll raise the bar for two reviews a week, but for now I'll stick with one.
-The Language Unspoken got sent in for the contest, finally (I realise I got the dates wrong last post). I hate writing important emails, by the way.
  5. Week Seven April 30th-May 6th

-Hell or High Water got finished at 1462. If anyone has seen my motivation, please return it.
-1172 words that completed Snow Globes (kinda obvious, since I uploaded it and all).
-And finally, the unsatisfying 1 review that got completed. I blame it on allergies and working and being exhausted (also I started trying to finally watch the Marvel movies and my dad joined in on the second movie and we ended up just running straight through four movies so).

I did other writing but that was other 485 words, and nothing I'm going to use any time soon.

    So! GOAL UPDATES

-Write 1000 words for Hell or High Water every week.

-Write 2 reviews a week until third star, and then decide what to do afterwards.

-Get third review star by the end of May.

-Start writing pros and cons to LMS novel possibilities, because I keep forgetting why I'm not choosing some of them.

-Write a poem for The Summer Outside Your Comfort Zone.

I've already started on that last one, but 1) that's not important and 2) I'm really good at writing lines of poetry 3) I'm not good at writing more than one line of poetry for the same poem.
Oh yeah! And 4) I can write really bad poetry that is basically just me complaining about life, but it's very personal and...generally sucks. I promise I'm trying to write something more upbeat.
  6. Week Eight May 7th-13th

-2742 words for Hell or High Water this week (wee!).
-I completed that poem for The Summer Outside Your Comfort Zone ([i]an honest lie[/]). I wrote a few others, started several, but that's what I got. Poetry. ugh.
-Wrote 2 reviews this week, and I meant to write more, but I've been incredibly busy.

I have another busy week though ): which means probably less writing. Also, I'm very tired. but i got to play polo *buzzes around at hyperspeed*
  7. Week Nine May 14th-20th

-4096 down for Hell or High Water and nobody can dampen my enthusiasm over it.

-647 words for #2 of The Summer Outside Your Comfort Zone, which is a short story involving several things I am uncomfortable writing and would personally like to stop it from existing but here we are.

-In more disappointing news, I still only got 2 reviews done. But hey, I got my goal, didn't I? It'll be worse if I don't get my three for next week.

and in other news, I'm still changing my mind for which novel to write for LMS almost every week. go me.
  8. Week Ten May 21st-27th

-1435 for Hell or High Water because apparently my motivation is slipping again

-356 words for July, 1941 or the second tSOYCZ piece, which I mentioned last week

-Started working on #3 for tSOYCZ which is a script and actually one of the novels I had contemplated doing for LMS but didn't feel like trying to come up with a new title, but at least it's finally in the format I wanted it to be in

-'It'll be worse if I don't get three reviews next week' WELL I got 7 and my third star so HA

do I have an LMS novel picked out?? only time will tell o:
  9. Week Eleven May 28th-June 3rd

-4560 words for Hell or High Water look at this rollercoaster my muse is all over the place (363 of those words were actually scrapped from the chapter though sO)

-Wrote 2 reviews which is...okay. Hopefully I can do more this week but we'll see

-I wrote like...two lines for my tsoycz script...it counts, but?? Not great?

guess who finally picked out an LMS novel
  10. Week Twelve June 4th-10th

-5173 words for Hell or High Water and I like none of them.

-Wrote 3 reviews which is also okay, but I can do better (except, probably not this week because I'm at a camp all week soo)

-Lots of LMS planning?? when I'm not procrastinating on...other novel planning? how does this work? let me procrastinate this thing on something else even though its the same thing.

Oh look at that! Goal Updates!

-Write 2000 words, to possibly be bumped up, of Hell or High Water a week, at least until LMS starts.

-Reviews stay at 2 for now.

-Plan something for The Hero's Brother daily. It doesn't have to be the whole thing, but nicking at it piece by piece will have...something that is hopefully salvageable by the time LMS begins.

-Finish tSOYCZ script by the end of June.

and yes, as a side note to myself: you have to write the important stuff before you can work on fantasy shorts. that's how this works.
  11. WOW Scribbles, You're doing an awesome job sticking to your weekly word count goal! Keep it up!!!
  12. Thank you!! It's hard, especially at first, but it's super rewarding too :)
  13. I bet! Awesome job though! Keep at it c:
  14. Week Thirteen June 11th-17

-2736 words for Hell or High Water this week- I feel like now that I've raised my goal I feel less inclined to actually write that much but it's more likely because I was gone all week.

-tSOYCZ script got another scene added and a partial, unmarked one started. Yay!

-2 reviews got done and honestly I need to step up my game but also I was gone all week.

-LMS Planning! Well, most of it was adding character descriptions to the WC Thread, but I did figure out a few things. also, y'know, I was gone all week and didn't have the time.

no fantasy short work this week :( also I TOTALLY didn't just do this all on Sunday ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  15. Wow, you're doing a great job! How close are you to the end of HoHW? I know you said you wanted to finish it by the end of the summer but weren't sure that would actually happen.
