Man, I like zipped through my Chosen Grandma chapter this week, so now I have to figure out what to write for the rest of the week to meet my 100-words daily goal.

Ope, I zipped through my chapter again. But I've also done two reviews, a blog post, and some edits on a hard copy of this draft of the Chosen Grandma, so I'm feeling pretty good.

I do not normally do edits of a draft while drafting, because in the past it kept me from finishing a draft. This time around it's going pretty well (for now).

Neat, March was my most prolific month so far! I think it was partly all the reviews, to be fair, but you can see that I even wrote more each week of the Chosen Grandma story than I normally average. I also wrote more days this month than ever before, although I can guarantee I won't beat that in April because my mom was in town the first weekend and I did zero writing in that time.
Still. Feels good to see my numbers. -

Even though I wrote on fewer days in April than any month so far - thanks to a combination of a visit with my mom and a weeklong bout of whatever I had there toward the end of the month - I wrote so much on the days that I did write that my total for the month was still higher than in February and only about 1000 words behind January. My average per day was also the second highest so far this year! So I don't feel as bad about this month as I expected to. -

Lmao my Chosen Grandma average word count shot up by nearly 500 words per week just because of that last week where I had to write 3,000 words instead of 1,000. Otherwise, a pretty weak month in terms of overall words and days written, which is ironic because this month is the first time I've had free time since the start of the school year. In my defense, I'm 90% sure I did some writing on some of the days that I marked as "no writing," but...they're not in my Excel file and I couldn't remember what I wrote those days, if anything.
Sooooooo I guess a good extra goal for June would be to update my "words written" document every single day so I don't have to rely on my terrible memory to know what I wrote which days. -

Successfully completed 3k and 5k. Going to definitely successfully complete 8k, because I only have about 600 words to go. 12k...probably.
20k idk we'll see, I'm really honestly hoping I don't actually have that much more of the story to write lolalso great job poking people

I'm taking the month off, fam. OBVIOUSLY. BECAUSE I DESERVE IT WOW OKAY. I'll still record my daily writing in 100 Words Daily but I'm giving myself the month off from ~officially writing~
