Young Writers Society

Poetry Readers

This is a club for learning about poets both new and old. The majority of the club will be centered around reading poetry and responding to the poetry we read.

The goal is to develop our awareness of old and new poets, poetry styles, and discuss what we think to develop our ideas.

We meet on a WFP near the end of every month to discuss that month's poem. The poems we discuss alternate between a "famous" poem and a ywser poem (which means your poem could be featured!) and we'll be exploring many different styles and forms.

This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much all of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.
