Have you felt it? Do you think it's normal?
I know I have xD
It's something we talk a lot about in my profession although unfortunately a lot of talk does not equate to action.
Do you think your twenties is too young to feel It?
On burn out

I definitely felt it a lot in grad school. And I def don’t think your twenties is too young to feel it. It’s a stressful time because you’re making big decisions that will affect you for a long time like your education, career path, and finding/maintaining relationships. How does one not burn out dealing with all that?
Still, it can be a sign that something needs to change. In my case, I was constantly exhausted and hated almost every day in grad school, eventually leading to a mental breakdown where I finally realized I needed to get the hell out of dodge and “master out”. So yeah, it sucjs but sometimes it’s necessary to force you to make a change. -
I have one hundred percent felt burnout and it is absolutely not related to your twenties! One instance stemmed from being too ambitious with projects and not taking the time I needed to rejuvenate creatively. That and my feeling of never doing well UNLESS I'm pushing burnout makes for a really unpleasant cycle. Another was from a family situation where, again, I wasn't being given time to rejuvenate.
Buuut sadly I still don't have a solution for it. -
Yeah burnout is tricky. I mean it happens a lot in the writing word. I'm still trying to get out of this hole that is reviewing burnout.
And then where I work it's easy for burnout to happen I think. It's loud, and you're constantly having to answer bizzare questions that are really hard to answer and solve problems that don't have an easy solution because I'm the only one trying to solve it. Like, my favourite conversation is "when you play tag... sometimes you're going to have to be It. That's just how the game works." But like these things turn into a loop convo that's really hard to escape.
And you have to be happy and friendly and cheerful and always looking for solutions the whole time. There's no breaks (I'm only there for at most 3.5 hours so it makes sense anyways) because you can't leave the kids. If there's two people on then you can go to the washroom briefly.
Anyway, it wears you down, slowly. XP When I get home I make a bee-line for my room.
The thing that rejuvenates me at work is when I get to read to someone. We have a couch now we get all snuggled up and read a story. I absolutely love that and it makes me feel like I'm promoting reading-kids. <3
Then agai idk if it's burnout with work or just stress. I think it can be either or somedays- it differs. I mean I certainly don't have the hardest job at all.
