I'm snowmonkey9 and I "mess around with" Spanish.
If been learning for about 4 years now. I hope to go to Spain sometime.

Hey all, it's me.
I've taken 4 years of Spanish. I kinda suck but I love languages!
I'm working on my Chinese thorough an app but I'm still in the total beginner phase. Hopefully I can practice more with my siblings, pick up some in China, and take actual courses in college.
I also just love learning about languages in general! I find cultural aspects in linguistics particularly fascinating. -
Hi, I'm Lael. I speak Cantonese (one of the most widely-spoken dialects of southern China), though not entirely well at this point, despite it being my first language. I am trying to practice by speaking it to my parents.
I hope one day to be able to speak Chinese and maybe even learn to write it (preferably traditional, not simplified). It's a complicated and sophisticated language and script (way back when, to learn to write one had to memorize 1000 characters first since Chinese is not phonetic), but that's what makes it all the more beautiful. It surely is a big part of my pride in my heritage.
I have been learning Spanish for a long time, as I used to take Spanish lessons. In school, I've been learning it for the past 3 years, and will continue this coming school year.
I am using an app to learn Korean. I was also learning French from an app but am taking a break of indeterminate length. Other languages I have dabbled briefly in before are Irish and Italian. -
I'm BlueAfrica. I'm only fluent in English, but I'm learning (simultaneously, which is sort of a mistake but oh well) French and Spanish.
I know a lot more French than Spanish so far, because I started learning it earlier, but still very little of either. (I'm learning for free via Duolingo so it's bound to not be as good as taking a class.) My goal is to try reading Le Petit Prince once I finish Duolingo's French program (I'm hoping it can teach me enough French for that, so far I've only read the English translation).
Spanish is easier but also harder, because I'm having more trouble coming up with words quickly in either language when speaking (reading and writing come much easier) and speaking is the reason I'm learning Spanish - my sister's in-laws are from El Salvador, and I feel bad because when our families get together I'm the only one who sits in awkward silence because I can't really talk to them. -
Shey here! I know very limited Spanish and Japanese, so don't expect much from me. Spanish I'm learning formally, seeing as I'll be taking Spanish II next year, but Japanese is a self taught project.
Again, don't expect much from me. I'm just here to be impressed by other people's dual language-news. -

I speak fluent Alagaesian Ancient Language as well as Demonic, and a little German. Fluent in English, obviously. I'm also fluent in Drakonic. I made the languages Drakonic and Demonic so obviously I'm fluent. -
I'm Pearl and I've been doing French for three-ish years, Norwegian for one, Italian and Swahili for a couple of months. I'm not fluent at any of them, but I do love languages.

@PearlC10 I would love to learn Swahili! Not that I'd have anyone to speak it to unless I end up in that part of the world someday, but still. I think Duolingo might even have that program, too, but considering I already get my French and Spanish mixed up, I should probably hold off before adding a third language.

Hi! I'm Darshayata and I subscribed to this amazing club just a while ago. I'm fluent in Assamese and Hindi and trying to learn Urdu and French. I guess my English is understandable but needs improvement.

I'm Dragonwriter22 and I'm a fluent English speaker. I've lived in Japan for roughly eleven years now and while I'm far from fluent in Japanese, I know enough of the language to communicate decently. I've also taken a year each of Latin and Hindi in school. Unfortunately I haven't touched Hindi in a while and forgotten most of it, but I hope to get back into it soon. I've continued to study Latin on my own outside of school, but I've still got a fairly limited vocabulary.

Oh, I've also spent time learning fictional languages such as Khuzdul and Quenya from Lord of the Rings and Klingon from Star Trek, but I don't think those were the type of languages this club had in mind...

Hello! Dual language is something that I am a huge proponent of, especially now that I'm working full time for a company that collaborates with dual language immersion schools throughout the United States.
Anyway! I'm Lavvie, and I'm fluent in both English and French. English is my mother tongue, but all of my schooling was in French until university, so it's basically like my second mother tongue. I also have 3-4 years of German under my belt, and I like to practice it as much as possible.
I'm also currently learning Spanish through a combination of Rosetta Stone and immersion (my boyfriend's parents don't speak much English).
