  1. Yay, stubbornly forcing myself to write! Woop woop! Let's do it.

    Goals for January:
Finish Umbrella Spells(US) outline, write a short story, write the basics of my children's book

    Daily word-count Jan.7:

-The beginnings of a short story (519 words)
" "Wow. Summer, right? You must be a jester, because I am rolling right now.” He continued, “I’m blind, remember? You’re not leaving until my roof that you broke is fixed. And I don’t really think you’re in a position to refuse, too.” He gestured towards the wolves at his feet. He was lying, of course. The wolves had never hurt a fly."

I also planned three scenes on the outline for US today, but I'm not going to count it since it was only a few sentences.
  2. Jan. 9

    -poem
    -YWS review
    -YWS review

I don't know the whole word count, but it was somewhere in the 500's.
Posting this on Jan.10 because school is brutal and sleep is a thing I need
  3. Jan.17

Holy crap am I behind! I haven't been keeping track of this as well as I've been meaning to, so I'm hoping this week will be a good week to start again.

    -Umbrella Spells outlining
670 words (a guestimate, because I wrote everything on paper)
  4. I'm rebooting this because it's summer where I'm at so I have lots of free time to write! I'm definitely not working on the same stuff, so here's an update:

I have three potential stories with three potential titles.

    AkKim, a sci-fi fantasy story.
    Icarus, another sci-fi fantasy story.
Scrumptiddliumptious, a magical realism story about food and friendships.

    Today I worked on a AkKim (301)

" Warily, but determined, he shuffled into runners position, toes edging the line between metal and ruined stone. He was wasting time, he knew, but he ran over the course once more in his mind. Then, with a deep inhale, he leapt forward. Shortly after his foot left his metal platform, it glowed a bioluminescent blue and seemingly unraveled itself, one arm of the star after the other. Ak did not look back, instead activating the two blue glowing swords attached to his arm. He squinted his eyes in determination, sweat already forming on his brow. Today, he thought. The sound of his feet slapping the ground blended in with the already raining sky."

Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.
