  1. Whether your character comes from a land of magic or a vast city filled with technological wonders, you are on the job- no matter what. As you work, however, you encounter something- or more accurately, someone. What happens? Do you fight? Talk? Part ways?
  2. a scrawny kid working at a fair tent repairing little gadgets and such "who next he asked a man at the front of the tent" "some kid with a watch" the man replied sending the kid in
  3. A shadow of a figure watches from the darkness, hidden behind the tent. She listens, waiting for her target.
  4. "ello what seems to be wrong with your watch" I said holding my hand to get it from the kid. the kid hand the watch over "it not ticking can you fix it please?" he asked "yes I can just close you eyes and count to ten" i answered as the kid close his eyes and start to count to ten the watch start to come apart and then fix itself by the time the kid was done counting the watch had come back together and was ticking again
  5. Silently, the woman watches. When the timepieces puts itself back together, she muffles her surprise- he had magic?
  6. i handed the watch back to the kid "here you go good as new" as the man sent in the next person i did the same thing over and over
  7. She waits until you leave for a break and follows you. Suddenly, she leaps out of the darkness and grabs you, hand around your mouth so you can't cry out. She drags you into the alley, then releases your mouth and pins you against the wall. "I'm looking for someone," the one-eyed, masked woman tells you. Her eyepatch has a serpent embroidered on it, and the lower half of her face is hidden by a mask. She wears a hooded cloak. "His name is Jerator. Simon Jerator. I've heard you've done work for him."
  8. From a corner, a tall, imposing man stood watching them. His white-gold eyes watched them suspiciously.
  9. Feeling someone watching her, the masked woman turns. "There is nothing to see here," she snarls. "Go back to where you came from and mind your own business." Her brown eye shimmers with ferocity.
  10. "I have nowhere to go back to," the man said coldly. He stared down his hooked nose at the woman. "And I question your definition of 'nothing'."
  11. She drops the tinkerer and sizes the man up. "Look, I don't want any trouble with you, but if you don't get out of here and mind your own business..."
  12. "I am Lucius Deacon," the man growled. "Does that name ring a bell at all?"
  13. "No. Should it?"
  14. "Perhaps." The man straightened his long black coat and fluffed out his golden ruff and glared at her. "I run a rather large industry."
  15. "Do I look like I care about your industry? Scram, or this will get ugly."
