Today's challenge comes a bit late (sorry about that), but it's a fun one!
Write, and post and link to if you'd like, a scene that happens at some point in your novel not chronologically following the last bit of story you wrote. If you're working on chapter one, give us a snippet of a chapter twelve, or even a dialogue that you're thinking of placing near the very end of the story. It might be interesting for you to see how different choices and storylines will take your characters to that point in the future, but don't focus too much on it; if you find your story taking you elsewhere, and the scene you write today ends up changing completely, that's okay too! In that case, it'll end up as a small souvenir and a reminder of maybe the first idea you had before it all fell into place.
