  1. Lets brainstorm
  2. :( P-please stop. Let's at least dedicate this group to an actual useful activity when I'm fully healed. I don't... Want this to be a self-loving thing or anything like that, I wouldn't feel okay with that kind if propaganda :/
  3. We can come up with game scripts and meaningful dialogue O.o
  4. First thing I'd recommend is avoiding extremely grindy gameplay. (FORTHELOVEOFCHRISTEVERYGAMEI'VEEVERPLAYEDMAKESMEGRINDLEVELSOVERANDOVERANDITSJUSTSOEASYTOAVOIDANDRIDICULOUSAAAGAGGGGGHHHHH) From RPGs to MOBAS and MMOS (I'm not even gonna mention FPS's. The entire game is just one thing.) A lot of designers get lazy and decide that its ok to have redundant content after you hit a certain level cap or finish a campaign. Hell, in games like Spiral Knights the campaign itself eventually becomes one massive grinding hell for fire crystals. So please if your making any game make sure you balance the material income you get from levels with the cost of upgrades, items, etc.

    dank yooo :D
  5. OH! AND MAKE SURE YOUR GAME HAS CONTENT AFTER A LEVEL CAP! IF YOU NEED AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT NOT TO DO AFTER ANY CAP OR CUTOFF THEN LOOK AT DESTINY. THAT GAME HAS A BILLION DOLLARS IN GRAPHICS THAT AREN'T EVEN THAT GOOD AND ABOUT FOUR CENTS IN MAKING BALANCED MECHANICS AND EXTRA CONTENT TO KEEP THE PLAYER SATISFIED!

(You have no idea how long this has been building up)
  6. Not making the game itself, but writing the script for it. We're all writers here.
