CYOT Round 2: Aley vs Ellstar

3 posts in this topic.

  1. I don't know if we're supposed to share the prompt or not...; I'm going to go with no.

    Title: you can have it

    Spoiler
    gently kissing your ears
like soft felt against your feet
    fuzzy and warm

    cuddling up to you
    just a fragile little beat
    puffing over your senses

    whisper your sweet nothings
and i'll melt into your strong arms
    eternally yours
  2. Ah, I had a short story for this but I couldn't finish it in time due to sudden quizzes. Ah well. Choppy poetry it is.

    Title: Samson & Delilah

    Spoiler

    The scissors are bloody
With strands of black and red
    A pair of witnesses
    and a pair of murderers.

I recall her eyes, like feathers
    flooding the pillows below us
    like dirt would flood over
    a closed casket.

    No god watched over us
    behind those blinders,
    the Bible couldn't recall
the space between heaven and hell

    like I couldn't remember,
    the gap between her thighs.

    But I remember the scissors.

    I remember our end.

She whispered to me, the way
God might have, in my youth,
    "You might marry your friends,
but you'll always love your enemies."

    Once again, I didn't listen.
  3. Votes to Ellstar! Bravo!
