Which is your favorite book so far?
-
So far, my favorite book is probably going to be Throne of Glass because I really enjoyed the action and suspense that happened there, and I also thought that the love triangle was cute (and I'm personally a fan of it staying that way.)
The latest book, Queen of Shadows, wasn't all that great because I didn't really appreciate Aelin, because I wanted the strong character of Celaena back and I honestly didn't really like how the author changed her so much. -
Mmh yeah the first book was a really good debut, huh? And yeah, I thought the love triangle was really cute too. The way the second book ended just broke my heart, but I liked the third book because I liked Rowan a lot. The last book was just insane. That end was just "what the ****!"
And yeah, Celaena was such a fierce and cool character. She was so my idol with her archery and everything, and I loved learning more and more of her backstory as the series went on. -
I definitively thought that Celaena was my idol, before all of that change and such. And yeah that ending to the last book. >.< -I thought that moment in time would be much more grand, since it was her first time coming back after 10 years of misplacement.
And the worst part is that I have to wait a whole year until the next book comes out, and I don't know what will happen there. And we're left with an unknown note. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if the author does a better job.
Anyways, that second book was so emotional and it did break my heart in a lot of ways. </3
Oh, and btw do you know that Sarah Maas wrote the first book, Throne of Glass, as a teenager and posted it for reviews on a similar site to YWS(like a writers website)? I think that it's so cool and it has really inspired me a looot. -
Yeah it was pretty disappointing. Me too.
I want it to come out already. *sighs* I hope everyone gets linked up as well. All the really different views gave me a headache...
That second book and Nehemia... Yeah it was just so *ugh*
Yeah I remember hearing about that. She wrote it on fictionpress.net
She's really inspiring. She better make a better fifth book though...
