What is the line you are fond of the most from your day's writing session?
-
"Both pieces of furniture made the entire room look like it were built for an elf."

Aysia and Mershon wolfed it down even though it was steaming hot. It was only then that I truly understood just how badly they had it, and I really saw them. I noticed the dark circles under their eyes and the bruises on their bodies and the way their bones poked out of their skin and how their clothes fit too tight and were worn through. It was so sad but it really told a story about how strong they were. The very fact that they were still going strong after all of these things that have happened to them physically. And not to mention mentally, which I couldn’t even begin to imagine how bad that was taking a toll on both of them.
not so much like line, but a small paragraph :p but I had to include all of it for it to make sense :p -
"Do we ever find ourselves looking at a worm and saying: 'I wonder what he is thinking?'
No, we step on the worm! And sometimes we don't even do that – we don't want to stain the sole of our shoe!"
Great lines, guys. Keep on writing! ^^ -
"And by most comfortable, I meant the one that only made me feel like my lungs were being squeezed into oblivion and that if I failed to take shallow breaths the whole dress would burst open."
I kinda liked this description for the corset my main character has to wear to a dinner. :3 -
Very nice, Deanie ^^
"The world has always been crazy. Now, it's just a different type of crazy."
Context: Vigilante in an Earth conquered by aliens. -
"Hey, don't spoil the ending for me!"
"That's the thing, there is no ending." -
“I am going to travel far away to the country of thieves and ghosts,” he would said, waving his hands in front of the growing crowd. “The place of foreseen measures and unholy hopes. A place where everyone wants to rule the world!”
-
“You can’t just mess around in stuff like that, Fate! That’s completely unfair. How old is this kid anyhow? How can you and our sister just decide to change something. That’s not right and you know it. You know what? Sometimes I’m ashamed to even look at you.”
-
What do you do when the silver lining after pitch black night fades away? What do you do when the one source of your hope is taken from you and crushed before your very eyes? What do you do when you see the one thing that is keeping the one you love from crumbling to pieces being taken from her without so much as an apology?

"Some of us will be the villains, whose stories are not yet told. While others will be the heroes, whose stories are lied about. In that time of being ourselves, deep down there is still a little part of being a kid we don’t know about. We are all villains. We are just waiting for our stories to be told.”

From last night: (actually two lines...xD)
"Only two trumpets? 'Woodwinds must be pleased,' I muttered and read on."
(yes we would be, Alexandra. yes we would...xD) -
Now, from Day Three's (again, more than one line - but they go together
)
"'Where's the band room?'
Mr. Spield raised his eyebrows. 'So you're that kind of kid," he muttered, just loud enough for me to hear." -
'Lyra probably should have thought this through. Because, really, running away from home had no way of being her best ever idea.'
I need a name for my story though. Any ideas, just from that line and this:
'The truth was, she probably wouldn't be going back to school. After all, freaks didn't need to be smart.' -
IDEK, if it's about a girl running away from home because of something she doesn't like / could be dangerous to her (such as unloving/uncaring and abusive parent(s) or something, you could have something called Finding Home or something... ( Coming Home maybe...? I don't know...) Good luck with the name!
