Since all is fair in love and the inquisition, here are my answers.Spoiler
What brought you to Young Writers Society? I was brought here out of loneliness actually. When I came back to YWS it was because I wasn't allowed to go on any RPing websites that I had been active in, and the last site I had left ended up being something a friend reminded me of after I had signed up in 2010. Back then, I wasn't ready for the harsh critiques and I signed up, got a little feedback, and quit. When I came back this time, I was ready for it and I took it slower, but I needed somewhere and YWS provided me with a place to grow and a place to be.
If you could pick one power, what would it be and why? I would probably pick transfiguration. It sounds kind of silly I guess, but I always have wondered what it was like to be something else, something that wasn't human, so I'd want the ability to literally walk in different skin.
Who is your favorite writer and why? My favorite author is currently Billy Collins. He's a poet who deals with some pretty funny things and his poems always have the ability to really make me see what he's talking about so I aspire to be as clear as he is with his poems, and connect with my audience the way that he does. I always feel like I'm a long way from the mark because my style is different than his, but I think it's pushed me to be a better writer.

What brought you to Young Writers Society? Let's see? OH! What brought me here would be my friend (Corn Timber) suggested I check out this site since she had seen my writing in class and has read most of my stories (on paper). Also how my boredom took over my life as it always has.
If you could pick one power, what would it be and why? To refill anything. Someone you hate. refill their bladder every time they are mean to you. Need a drink? Refill your cup with water!
Who is your favorite writer and why? My favorite author would be Mary Higgins Clark. I love her mystery stories and how you have to wonder who is the killer? and how she gives red-herrings (which I never seem to noticed). Also how she uses writing to confuse the reader by putting the thought of one character (thinking they are the killer) when really it is the opposite of what you thought. (Usually her novels in happy endings... Mostly) -
What brought you to Young Writers Society?
Well, it started off many moons ago (actually just 21 moons, as a moon represents a month in my eyes) I was at the library,as I usually was during the holidays, and I was looking for a book to read. Seeing as I have read nearly all the fantasy, historic fiction and crime novels, I decided I was going to look up young, aspiring writers on the internet.
In Google, I searched for Young writers, and the top result was a website called Young Writers Society, so, being my inquisitive self, I entered this still unfamiliar realm. I made a profile, but soon forgot about the website, sort of...
Then, in January last year, my best friend (Astral Hunter) gave me an unbreakable cipher at school. For reasons unknown, I was lured to YWS for advice. I asked some users to help with it (in the Lounge of all places!) and almost forgot about YWS again, if Astral Hunter didn't decide to join YWS in June (I was sleeping over when he joined)
I have been active since then.
If you could pick one power, what would it be and why?
*grins* The power to summon a genie, who I'll ask to give me Time control, super intelligence, and the ability to shape shift. (that's not cheating, it's finding a loop hole
)
Who is your favorite writer and why?
This is a tough one. My top three are J.R.R Tolkien, Agatha Christie, and C.S Lewis. Why? Because they are talented authors, the Grand Manipulators of a language as common as English into masterpieces that will be remembered forever. I look up to them, and get inspired to write, so that my name can one day join theirs among the greats. -
What brought you to Young Writers Society?
I don't remember... I was 12 and I think I just stumbled upon it one day and never left.
If you could pick one power, what would it be and why?
The power of flight. I'm a ballerina, and I enjoy learning how to be weightless, so the power to fly would be super cool. Plus, like, you'd be able to fly.
Who is your favorite writer and why?
Um contemporary fiction writer, it's probably John Green. I found him at a time in my life when I was going through some stuff, and I really related and found myself understanding me and brains and metaphor a lot more. Contemporary poet would be Richard Siken. His words are in my blood. As for classic literature, it's Shakespeare, because <3 Julius Caesar and classic poet it's e.e. cummings, because he taught me you don't have to have caps to have pretty poetry...

1- My favorite book... After the Bible, it would most likely be The Book Thief and And then there were none. Why? Well if you haven't read these books, then I'll advise you to read them asap (Note to Capital Monday~ I you want to read one of the best mystery novels out there, read the second italics book)
2- My favorite quote... Well, look at my signature, and you'll find one of my favorite quotes. In fact, look up any of Lao Tzu's quotes, and they're my favorites.
3- My favorite YWS activity... Storybooking and destroying the Lounge.
If I may, then I also want to ask a few questions:
1) Your least favorite book/author. And why.
2) If you could travel through time, would you travel to the past/future. Please be specific, like the Medieval or Renaissance periods, or far/near future. Supply a reason for your answer.
3) What is the one thing you would change on YWS. How and why would you change it.
Ok, my answers.
1- Least favorite... Definitely the Lord of the Flies. I loathe everything about that book. It is factually incorrect and realistically insubstantial. Plus, it is our prescribed book for this year. :/
2- Time travelling... I would travel to either the Roman Empire's Golden Age, or the Renaissance. Why? Because I fell in love with the art, cultures, architecture and languages of those eras.
3- Change?... I would add the action of SBers to usurp the management of a SB if they are either sick and tired of the current management, or if they have a very valid reason.

Favorite book would have to be Lord Valentine's Castle because it was the first book I read all the way through for my own enjoyment. I actually really hated reading for a long time in my life, then I decided that since I had nothing else to do on break, I'd take this book with me to school and read it between class. It took me two years to finish, but I did it.
My favorite quote... hmm... "Read promiscuously" which is a John Milton quote and not the complete thing. He spoke in really long sentences.
I also troll chat, but my favorite thing to do on YWS is actually creating competitions and clubs and things. I love making events. -
What brought you to Young Writers Society?
One day last October I was staring at my wattpad account and noticed I had just wasted two years of my life trying to get some form of feedback on my works. So I deleted everything and got on google. I typed in writing sites and the first result was YWS. I thought I'd give it a shot and what do you know? I never left.
If you could pick one power, what would it be and why?
I'd pick the power of teleportation, so I'd be able to find my insperation from new places.
Who is your favorite writer and why?
I think my Favorite writer would be James Patterson because he's got a way of wording his stories so I imagine what it looks like in my mind. It's like a little movie. I enjoy his Women's Murder Club books mostly because I like crime books. -

Right now I enjoy the Dark Materials trilogy just because the amount of imagination it has inside can make me silent for days on end.

Um, I'd love to travel back to the antebellum south. I feel a real connection with the people there and how they lived (slavery aside, of course), and I feel as though I could have enjoyed lift there. I'd also like to travel to the future where women are treated with the respect they deserve.
3) What is the one thing you would change on YWS. How and why would you change it.
I'd like novel pages back lol. -

Im sorry I just think he drags his books out too long and pads his word count. I do like one book by him but I can't remember the name just the general idea that was in it. My third grade teacher read it to us.

I'd like to go into the far future and see if the people I think are going to make big in life really do. I'd also like to go back to when I started procrastinating in school and slacking off and knock some sense into my younger self

I think I'd probably put a "create club" button in the clubs section in case someone gets confused. -

I really hated To Kill a Mocking Bird actually...
I just couldn't get enveloped in the story. I don't remember ever really being at that stage in my life so I couldn't connect with the characters at all. They just annoyed me.
2) If you could travel through time, would you travel to the past/future.
I would probably travel to Victorian England...
3) What is the one thing you would change on YWS. How and why would you change it.
I would change the front page to something less flashy. I would probably put a section for the green room up there, and the literary spot light just be a list. I don't like how it scrolls through the stock images with the titles for Literary Spotlight Works. -
*My least favorite book/author? And Why? I don't think I have a least favorite book.... I love to read all books that I can found/
*If you could travel through time, would you travel past/future? I would travel to past, just so I could meet Walt Disney and Dr. Suess (I want to be an artist and these two are inspiration)
*What is one thing you would change on YWS? How and why would you change it? Maybe decrease the coins to publish something.... Make chat more welcoming then just a boring screen (I would keep the color changes) or maybe add more colors to the choices since what if you want rainbow or teal or whatever.
