As of the time of this posting, the Billboard Music Awards have been on for an hour. So I wanna ask: What are your thoughts on them? Were there any artists whom you were hoping would win? What did you think of the performances? How was Madonna's tribute to Prince?
The winners of each category will be posted as soon as they're posted online.
My one complaint is that Taylor Swift seems to still qualify for them despite her album being out for almost two years by now.
Also; I had an idea for a community event: whenever a major music award premieres on TV, we'll open up a live chatroom so we can mock and snark whatever's happening. Would y'all be open for that? And if so, what events should we do it for? The Grammys are a given, anything else would be up to y'all.

I took a look at all the winners on their website and it's all Adele and Weeknd.
(also the best rap album award went to Meek Mill. They Had "To Pimp a Butterfly", "Compton" and Drake's "If you think you're reading..." mixtape in the list, and they went with Meek Mill.) -
I guess Meek Mill is more popular than once thought. Either that, or they deliberately picked something unorthodox.
