We all have that one artist; some time ago, they were all we listened to. Then one day, we just stopped.
Does this apply to you? Who was that artist, and why do you think you stopped listening to them?

When I was 15 and first getting into music that wasn't on the radio, I went through the obligatory ska phase. Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto in particular were artists that I listened to almost constantly. As time went on, I traded ska in for punk (and eventually punk for general indie music), and predictably, those bands ended up falling into the wayside. I still listen to Streetlight Manifesto every once in a while, but Reel Big Fish remains untouched.
Artists you grew out of?

Ah, I used to listen to a lot of pop punk when I was going through my punk phase but now I'm pretty much out of that. I used to listen to Imagine Dragons too, but I kind of grew out of that as they didn't suit me or my life problems as much as the music I listen to now does.
