Do any of you want to form a group for encouraging each other to post sort of like the Last Man Standing challenge?

It could work, I think I saw quite a few people wishing to join LMS but since it doesn't work like that, they couldn't. But we would need some original idea or deal with creator of LMS, it wouldn't be fair other way around. Did you have anything on your mind?

Well we could do the groups as small sets of people who talk intimately about their stories. For instance, I might not read the Siege, but you could problem-solve with me, and you might not read Searching for Security, but you would be there to encourage me to get editing and posting it.

You know something about chapter lengths? We only feel intimidated by the length because the whole thing appears in a single page. When we're reading books the we have to turn the pages and it gives us the feeling that its pretty short even though its not. But here, the whole chapter appears in one long page and you look at the scrollbar getting shorter and shorter and you're like, "oh no...". That is something that Wattpad is ahead of us with...

I agree with you, ConfusedGlasses. I've been thinking about the length thing for awhile, and when I saw Wattpads setup I got really excited! I'm not sure, but I think that might be a big job for Nate, and he's already got so much he's doing... also who knows if that's we're he wants to go with it.
I think the page idea would just all around be good. I hate splitting up my chapters too, and some how the long YWS pages feel so daunting. Somehow going through all those pages is more encouraging.
Aley- That's a good idea! I think that's different enough from the LMS, and I don't think Tenyo would mind either... actually, she'd probably be happy if you wanted to start up another round of LMS ( of course you'd have to talk to her about that... or Noelle, she's in charge lately ). -
With the novel that I'm parenting, the chapters feel... well, dull. Even though the author is getting better at descriptions, it's hard to see the setting. Their vocabulary is good, just, same with the chapters, dull. I want to talk more about the descriptions and settings, but I feel like I talk about that every review.
It's getting to a point where I am struggling to just click the link and read. -
Why not use some links? There are a lot of good resources in the help section and if you just read and comment, that's fine.
