I've been wondering how exactly the judging of this final challenge will go. What will the pieces be judged on? The amount of improvement since the original was written? The originality of the idea? The best overall story?

Regardless, I'm sure it's hard for the judges to make their decisions when there's so little similarity between the stories to compare.

Hello, Panem. Now is the time for you to help your team of tributes in the arena by volunteering your services to buy them a parachute for challenge three.

    -The Parachute-

The ability to write any poem they wish, regardless of the challenge-- as long as they use the word history three times in different ways.

-The Challenge to Gain the Parachute-

    15 reviews in one hour.

From the time of this message, you have exactly one hour before this opportunity closes. Your tribute will be able to write a poem about whatever they wish, as long as it uses the word 'history' three different times.

Good luck! And may the odds be ever in yours (and your tribute's) favor.

Today is the No E's challenge. It amuses me that the hardest challenge from the YWS Olympics happens to be mine.
    Luck, right?

Unfortunately, you guys did not succeed in the Parachute Challenge. Better luck next time!

Oh. My. Gosh. I love you <3

<3 half an hour, get busy! ;)

    Holysocks replied · Jun 4, 2014

Ugh. Thank you so much, it was really nice of you! But something's come up and I'm afraid I have to go. I did get in one more review, at least. But everyone else: USE THAT HALF AN HOUR TO YOUR ADVANTAGE.

  • ongoeslife replied · Jun 4, 2014

I would feel more motivated to win this for all of you if you showed your support for me in this challenge. 'Cause, you know, what else are friends for?

    ongoeslife replied · Jun 4, 2014

I just realized I'm not actually supposed to be competing in this challenge. >.>

    Go, @Strange !!

Hello, Panem. Now is the time for you to help your team of tributes in the arena by volunteering your services to buy them a parachute for challenge two.

    The Parachute

Ten e's to be used at the tribute's discretion in challenge two.

The Challenge to Gain the Parachute

You, the districts, have two hours from the time of this PM to collect 20 reviews.

I'm scared to say anything now, 'cause it may end up in Squills. o_O

*realizes that this very post may end up there*

    They're watching our every move...

    ongoeslife replied · Jun 3, 2014

This feels more ominous than just Big Brother watching. Or maybe it's just that my position as tribute has me paranoid... >.> <.< But I don't think I'm paranoid at all. The danger is real!

    Holysocks replied · Jun 3, 2014

Yup, it sure does have a Hunger Games feel to it. O.O

Unfortunately, as I am out of town, I failed the first challenge. I even had a piece written, but it could not upload on my mobile. I'm sorry I have failed you, my lovely District Three.

    Holysocks replied · Jun 3, 2014

Oh, you didn't fail anyone! You tried, that's all that counts. :-P

    ongoeslife replied · Jun 3, 2014

If you mention that, they may still let you in!
