I'm Listening

  1. Let it all out, and remember, we're here for you!
  2. Hi, my name is Fiona, and I have an autistic brother. This may not sound like so much of an issue, and it isn't. Most of the time. He's really nice most of the time, but if something goes amiss, even that he might need to burp, he throws a fit. I've only been pinched three times in my life, that was enough that every time he starts throwing a fit I hide in my room and try not to listen to my mother getting hurt. It's what she wants me to do, he's too strong for either of us. But I feel like a coward, so at every chance I get I'm reckless, Walking out on thin ice, tubing down the highest rapids, anything. I don't know what's wrong with me! I'm getting scared because of some yelling?! I don't know what I can do to help!
  3. Hey Fiona. I know it's been awhile and maybe you've already gotten help. But if you haven't I would suggest maybe when your brother is calmed down talk to him about this. Also, maybe you could do things to help your mother afterwards. Like offer to do a job she was getting ready to do that night.
  4. Okay, so I have this friend who started cutting in 4th grade, and she dresses really dark. She says that everything makes her sad, angry, depressed, etc. And whenever people tell her that she deserves everything, she says that they are lying and they are wrong. She says she deserves death. I need help badly.
