For this year's LMS, I'm joining as a stowaway to continue working on my worldbuilding for my novel series, The Heart of San Lobato. This series is a contemporary Urban Fantasy that follows the same band of misfit characters. Each novel of the five books is dual-pov. Check my wall for fun rantings about the characters because I love them. The two POV characters of Book One: The Werewolf's Steeple are Charlemagne Kenway and Lorelai Materson. Charlemagne is a werewolf priest whose church and family are falling apart after the suicide of his oldest daughter. Lorelai is a child prodigy necromancer who is desperate to protect her twin brother from the scorn of their mother. Tensions only rise as a string of unsolved murders shakes their small hometown of San Lobato. The meaning of loyalty is tested as desperation rises in the face of crisis.
My goal is at least one thousand words a week.

06/17/26 866 words written!! Goal smashed. As a personal mini goal, I want to try to up my word count by 500 words a week. So this week was 1000, so next week would be 1,500. I technically already beat that this week by writing 1,654 words, so maybe I should up it to 2000... decisions, decisions.

Ahh just 1,000 words today. Had a lot of medical appointments this week so I fell behind whoopsie. Here's to next week being better!!

I had some health problems over the weekend that prevented me from posting. I don't know if that knocks me out of the stowaway badge. But I did write 1,000 words. Yes, even XDD I stopped in the middle of the sentence as soon as I accomplished my goal. Here's to a better and healthier week!
