   Working on the second draft of Soul Watchers as a Stowaway!!!! It's going to be epic! *flails*

   Okay! So! I've been going over my notes and towards the end (which is where I'm currently at) the chapters need to be ~rewritten~ but once I'm done with the novel, I need to go through and edit it again.
   
   So... I am going to say that every week needs a chapter revised. Though, as this continue, I might tweak my goal a bit? But YEAH. I'm going to try to revise a chapter a week. That sounds fair.
   
   This week is all about writing a new chapter -- the dungeon scene. Things that need to happen:
   
   - Locked away! (revise this)
   - Damien passes by and she gives him a secret message. (revise this)
   - She hears mysterious voices (written today!)
   - Rescue! (currently in progress!)
   - Going to the next scene.
   
   SO. By the end of this week, hopefully I have a passable chapter for this. *flails*

   Week 2 was the week where nothing seemed to work out, lol. My phone started majorly dying and then I got a massive leg infection which started off bad and then progressively got worse to the point where I was crying whenever I had to stand up and could barely walk.
   
   SO YEAH. THIS WEEK SUCKED.
   
   Anyway. I got a new phone (thanks, old phone, for starting to die right during Amazon Prime Deals!) and, after several days on antibiotics, I can finally walk again(!!!!!) so THINGS ARE MUCH BETTER NOW.
   
   (Of course, now that I have a new phone being delivered tomorrow, my old phone is like, "Wait! No! Actually, I work! See??? My battery isn't draining continuously and I can ACTUALLY CHARGE THE BATTERY." So I feel a bit silly for spending hundreds of dollars. But also, the 5g band doesn't work anymore, it's five years old, and the battery is still... acting suspicious, so I dunno. I should probably just embrace the new phone and let my kids use my old phone for Duolingo, hahaha.)
   
   ANYWAY. Clearly I needed something easy to edit, lol.
   
   SO. UM. I went to Book 2 and trimmed off about a thousand words from a chapter and rewrote some bits so that it flows smoother. So YAY! My total word count is now less than 104k and that makes me happy. (The original version was more like 190k, for reference, so YEAH. A LOT HAS BEEN TRIMMED.)
   
   ...anyway. That is all I have, lol.
