Hi, I'm Benita. I'm new. I'm really interested in reading some fantasy and supernatural themed novels titles since that's genre of books I hope to write. Any recommendations? Oh and does anyone know someone who's a successful or somewhat successful freelance writer that could give an amateur like me some tips?

I've been seriously considering writing a short story for a science-fiction competition thing in July, but I really think I need to try working out those writer muscles with some easier things first, so I can get my mojo back.

At the same time, I'm pretty much just lazy and feeling unworthy.
