  2. 5. The Challenge - Seeing that Green Room empty & reaching that Review Goal is somewhat satisfying.

    4. Team Loving - Being part of a big family for the whole 24 hours is just fantastical. We love spurring each other and having giggles throughout the day.

    3. The Rivalry - The constant banter between the two competing teams is always fun! We also like to pop in to eachothers forums and leave lovely/evil messages. mwahaha!

    2. The Reviews - Getting reviews on your own work is IMMENSELY helpful & giving someone else that same gift makes you feel warm & fuzzy inside.

    1. The Work & Writers - Every review day, I find a masterpiece hidden in a dark corner of a category tab that I fall in love with! It's a chance to read new things that you would never normally go looking for and discover a new writer that you just can't help admiring!

    If you can't tell....I LOVE review day!!!!

    4. There are more people on YWS than ever on review day weekends!
    3. Reviewing is satisfying, leaving feedback for the author's is exciting!

Every time I’ve gotten feedback that was hard to take it was usually hard to take because there was truth in it and I didn’t like that (or didn’t want to receive it). That’s not to say all harsh feedback is good or that we should be harsh for harshness’ sake, but learning to absorb truth without letting it break your inner core/break you is a lifelong skill that keeps your mind elastic and open to learning.
